Feel strong robust and protected with Guardian Gold Synergy Blend of Sweet Orange, Clove Bud, Cinnamon Bark, Eucalyptus,  and Rosemary (Cineole) Essential Oils.

What Is Synergy?

This is a blend of pure essential oils, brought together to enhance and improve each other's effects. Importantly, these are not contained in carrier oil.

YOU MUST DILUTE THIS SYNERGY BLEND BEFORE USING ON THE SKIN.

They are fantastic for use in diffusers and for making your own products for home and everyday use.

There are several different essential oils for sleep in this blend, but really it is a synergistic play with four important chemical constituents that are proven to have antimicrobial actions.  These are limonene, 1,8 cineole, cinnamaldehyde, and eugenol.

Limonene is a fantastic cleaning agent with strong antiviral abilities. It potently protects the respiratory system against inflammation (Santana, 2020) which can be problematic with coughs and colds. Limonene is also active against the Herpes Simplex Virus I which causes cold sores. (Miniami, 2003)

Orange oil is composed of 97% limonene. Additionally, sweet orange essential oil adds a bright, positive outlook for mood too. You feel as if you are strong and protected by the smell of orange.

What Does 1,8 Cineole Do for the Guardian Gold Synergy Blend?

Eucalyptus contains a powerful constituent called 1,8 cineole.  The species of rosemary chosen for the blend is also high in 1,8 cineole which supports healthy breathing in cases like asthma, COPD, or bronchitis. (Seol, 2016) (Juergens, 2020)

1,8 Cineole is also a proven virucidal and antiviral agent against the coronavirus Sars-Cov-2 (better known as COVID-19) (Mieres-Castro, 2021) (Elsebai, 2022) amongst other pathogens. Antiviral agents slow down (and in some cases stop) the spread of the virus through the body.

Clove Bud is Rich in Eugenol

Eugenol is also a powerful antiviral agent. It is both antiviral and virucidal. Virucides reduce the likelihood of you catching a virus. You might think of a disinfectant as an example.

Viruses tend to be the things that we worry about because antibiotics are no help against them, like coughs, colds, and flu.

A 2014 study assessed the vulnerability of a strain of influenza when exposed to certain essential oil constituents in a petri dish. Eugenol killed 100% of the virus after 10 minutes. (Vimalanathan, 2014)

Eugenol is also being researched as a possible therapeutic for COVID-19 as it targets genes the SARS-CoV-2 uses to enter and spread through the body.

The virus uses a protein known as S1 which activates the ACE2 receptor involved in heart function and blood pressure. (Lai, 2022) S1 binds to ACE2 to enter the cell and initiate COVID-19. (Paidi, 2021)

Eugenol suppresses S1, inhibiting the entry of the virus into cells.

Another study showed that when mice were given eugenol orally, it strongly inhibited the release of several inflammatory markers that cause problems in COVID-19 infections.  Eugenol decreased fever, reduced lung inflammation, and improved heart function. (Paidi, 2021)

Eugenol is also demonstrated to be active against strains ( 1 & 2) of the herpes simplex viruses which cause a variety of symptoms including cold sores and genital herpes.

Eugenol also appears in smaller amounts in cinnamon bud oil, (about 4%) but here, the warrior is cinnamaldehyde.

Look out, Look Out Cinnamaldehyde’s About

Where eugenol’s skills are antiviral, cinnamaldehyde is extremely clever at dealing with bacteria.

Cinnamaldehyde is active against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.

The difference between gram-positive and gram-negative is in their anatomy, which creates a different physiology.

Consider that a bacteria is made up of cytoplasm encapsulated by a cell membrane.

In gram-negative bacteria, the cell membrane is covered in a sensitive lipopolysaccharide slime. This slime is constantly sensing the environment and on the lookout for invaders that could compromise it (like penicillin for example). When these are detected, it initiates an immune response to defend it. This is why many gram-negative bacteria will eventually become antibiotic-resistant because immunity depends on recognition.

By contrast, gram-positive bacteria do not need this lipopolysaccharide surface, because their cell membranes are many layers thick, making it much harder to penetrate. For this reason, plant extracts tend to be better at dealing with gram-negative infections than positive ones.

However, cinnamaldehyde can deal with both. Able to puncture the cell membrane of gram-positive bacteria, the cinnamaldehyde causes leaks in the cell's integrity. Then, the cytoplasm loses DNA, RNA, and proteins that it needs to replicate. Thus scientific studies of bacteria in petri dishes demonstrate that cinnamaldehyde prevents multiplication and spread of both gram-positive and gram-negative bacterial infections. (Vasconselos, 2018)

Both Cinnamaldehyde and eugenol also exhibit powerful antifungal abilities against a variety of different strains of pathogens. (Ooi, 2006) (Marchese, 2017)

Ways To Use Your Guardian Gold Synergy Blend

A great way to “Top up” essential oils in the body is to apply them to your wrist. This way they can get into the bloodstream easily and start their work on supporting healthy immunity.

Add Guardian Gold Synergy Blend To Cleaning Products

Limonene and 1,8 cineole also have virucidal abilities which means it can stop you from catching the virus. Virucides are also known as disinfectants so this is a fantastic blend to use for cleaning products in high-traffic areas when someone has a bug.

It should be noted that for a sanitizing product, Guardian Gold Synergy Blend would need to be added to a base carrier of alcohol to be fully protective.

Guardian Gold Synergy Blend in a Diffuser

Use three drops of Guardian Gold Synergy Blend in a diffuser to despatch cleansing ingredients into the atmosphere, to protect your loved ones when germs are lurking nearby.

Guardian Gold Synergy Blend in a Sniffy Stick Inhaler

Have you ever seen the pictures of the plague doctors with their big beaked headdresses stuffed full of herbs?

This is the 21st-century equivalent. Inhale the Guardian Gold Synergy Blend of essential oils for immune support when you feel like germs might be near.

These synergy blends are great for sniffy sticks because you can just put the cotton wick into your bottle, let it suck up enough oils, and then pop it into your inhaler. No measuring is required.

Keep it with you, wherever you go. Take five minutes to inhale it, every time you need it.

Precautions for Using Guardian Gold Synergy Blend

This essential oil synergy contains ingredients that thin the blood. Therefore it is not suitable for use by people who have platelet clotting disorders, or who are taking anticoagulant medications. Cease use of Guardian Gold Synergy Blend 48 hours before planned surgery.

Guardian Gold Synergy Blend also contains rosemary essential oil which can be problematic for some people with high blood pressure, epilepsy, or who have problems with delusory conditions such as psychosis.

Please Diffuse It With Care Around Cats

Cats lack a certain enzyme in their livers that prevents them from metabolizing essential oils in the same way we do.  Diffusers send volatiles into the air which are dangerous for cats if they lick themselves when these molecules fall on their fur. Citrus oils and oils are rich in a chemical group called phenols causes them difficulties and can cause poisoning. Guardian Gold Synergy Blend contains orange essential oil and clove and cinnamon which are phenol-rich essential oils.

Always ensure the door is open when diffusing Guardian Gold Synergy Blend so they can leave if they want to, and leave plenty of water for them to drink.
