Ways to Use Vanilla

Vanilla oil has such an intoxicating aroma, very calming and cleansing. Besides reminding me of times with my grandmother as she taught me to bake, it also reminds me of when we would clean the house from top to bottom with Vanilla essence. She just loved it, so it still holds fond aromatic memories for me. But did you know that Vanilla oil can be used in lots of different products. Here are a few fun ways you can use Vanilla oil.

Alluring Perfume Spray

Vanilla invites you to be playful, romantic and alluring. She brings out your flirtatious side and calls you to embrace your womanhood. Create an alluring perfume spray to bring that out in you.

What you’ll need

Instructions

Combine all ingredients into a spray or perfume bottle. Place lid onto bottle, and shake vigorously before using. As time passes, the oils will meld together and you’ll be left with a lovely alluring scent.

Lip balm

Dry lips are annoying, and a simple solution is at hand with this simple DIY recipe. Make a few and keep the jars handy at all times.

What you’ll need

  • 2 tablespoons beeswax
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa butter
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 3 drops of Vanilla essential oil
  • Small jars or lip balm tins

Instructions

  • Place all the ingredients (except essential oils) in a large glass bowl. Fill a pot with water, then set the glass bowl over the top to where it will be partially submerged in the water.
  • Melt the ingredients together. Remember to stir often to ensure a smooth consistency
  • Once all the ingredients are melted, remove from the heat, add the Vanilla oil, and mix well. It is important to work quickly as the mixture will harden once it has been removed from the heat.
  • Pour mixture into small jars or tins, and allow to cool. It will take the mixture a few hours to harden completely before use.
