Creating your own bespoke diffuser blends is so easy and I’ve done all the hard work for you with these quick and simple recipe diffuser blend recipes.  The most important thing you need to do is to make sure you have the right type of fragrance oil for your diffuser. 

Assess The Scent Of The Bottle

I always advocate getting a scent out of the bottle when you first start to work with it. Buy some inexpensive scent strips, or do what I just did and pop a drop on some absorbent paper, and set it aside for a moment to react to the oxygen in the air. Now, give it a waft under your nose, what do you notice first? What scent notes are most prevalent to you?

I’m wafting it around me now and I get the strong almond notes, with those sun-warmed summer figs. I can detect my favorite aromatic, Amber, anywhere and here it melds beautifully with the last wisps of Musk.

Use Essential Oils To Influence Your Mood and Wellbeing

You Will Need:

For making 10ml blends

    1. Measuring jug

    2. Small funnel

    3. Stainless steel spoon

    4. Oil and waterproof labels

    5. 10ml dropper bottles

Optional: Use a preservative of your choice, and follow the manufacturer's instructions. 

Method

    1. Are you ready for how simple this is?

    2. Read your recipe blend below and choose which blends you want to try.

    3. Simply measure your fragrance oil and/or essential oils into the measuring jug.

    4. Take the stainless steel spoon and mix to combine thoroughly.

    5. Using a funnel will help to keep your bottle clean and oil-free, helping your label adhere better.

    6. Decant the diffuser blend into the 10ml dropper bottle.

    7. List all of your ingredients on an oil and waterproof label and add the safety warning ‘UNDILUTED OILS’ and date.

    8. Always thoroughly wash your equipment in hot soapy water before moving on to make another diffuser blend with NO. 1021 - Inspired by: Cascade by Aroma360.
